The blood type determines how well a food will/will not break down in the individuals system creating energy for vital bodily functions vs. storing as fat and yielding few if any nutrients.
The glycemic index is a ranking system for foods containing carbohydrates. The GI (glycemic index) number determines how quickly a food triggers a rise in the blood sugar.
The program is unique in that it is not a ‘new diet fad.’ It is directed to the individual in such a personal way that will help the client lose weight if they want or need to and then to maintain that weight loss in a balanced plan to fit their lifestyle.
This program is not one that only allows a client to eat certain foods all of the time, but teaches him or her to eat many foods and how to balance them properly to enjoy life and stay healthy.
Each program begins with a Nutritional Analysis, then continues with personal sessions (a minimum of 4). More sessions can be scheduled (8-12 week programs) depending on the needs or preference of the individual. Each session will be approximately 1 hour in length.
